Crisp air, cool sunny days and The Great Outdoors.
Take a visit to Melbourne's beautiful park life and enjoy some local jems like the Family-friendly Botanic Gardens, Historic Como House, adventure playgrounds and more. These green spaces make the perfect place to stroll, ride bikes, scooter, throw a ball, picnic or just sit in the sunshine.
Every year, Glen Eira City Council brings the community together in January, February and March with a series of free outdoor events held in three of the City’s best loved parks.
Princes Park plays host to a fun-filled family day out on Sunday the 17th February 2019.
You can't miss this playground. It's candyland pink with splashes of green and blue and unmissable! It's also very Dr. Seuss with it's swirly patterns. Well done to the Bayside Council and everyone involved in this playground upgrade - we love it!
This playground incorporates a challenging 'Ninja Warrior' style ropes course that leads to a twisty slide. There's also a cool spinner, basket swing, swings with a view that overlook the playground, another smaller red slide and soft pink astro turf as a landing pad.
Nothing beats an uncomplicated local playground that tickets all the boxes and EE Gunn delivers the goods. A beautiful simple and colourful playground, sporting an off leash dog oval, Mr. Brightside cafe within close reach, toilets, free parking and shade!
In all honesty this playground suits little ones who haven't quite started school with equipment that's full of fun for little legs. Climbing frames, a basket swing, a fun police car to climb, a spinner, swings and some slides. It's also set back from the street, partly shaded with shade sails and there's greenery to the side so it's perfect for throwing a picnic blanket down or kicking a ball.
