This is one place where you really can get up close to the animals and it's a natural stop off on the way to Phillip Island. Whether it's a koala, kangaroo, wallabies, dingoes, Tasmanian devils or an emu, that interaction and personal connection will long be treasured in their minds. You'll get to do all of this at your own pace.

maru koala and animal park

The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and although the park is somewhat 'small' compared to a bigger Zoo or animal experience, it's a family run and owned park with no crowds.

Start your wildlife journey at the top on entrance at the gift shop and cafe and wind your way through animal exhibits and free ranging kangaroos where you can hand feed them.

If you thought Maru Koala & Animal park was just about animals, think again! When you've finished your animal encounter, the Pirate of the Caribbean themed mini golf is a brilliant way to end a fun day out with the family.
