Concerts & Performances Kids Activities Melbourne
The great thing about Melbourne's outdoor festivals is that everyone can enjoy them. At outdoor concerts, grown ups can enjoy being outdoors on a lovely day or evening, relaxing, even if the music is for kids. And, generally, kids will put up with an adult performance much better if they can run around, dance, play and picnic while you enjoy a little grown up entertainment for once. Of course it's fun to visit the indoorsy entertainment at Venues too!
Family shows are just as fun as the concerts you may remember from your pre-parenting days but the music isn't as loud, the settings are sometimes more intimate with the children nestled around the performer and there is nothing cuter than watching the littlies get up and groove to the music.
Make amazing memories for your children these Winter school holidays at The Big Bubble Show! Starring the UK’s incredible Samsam Bubbleman, holder of 10 Guinness World Records, seen by 100,000’s worldwide.
Combining astonishing bubble magic, sidesplitting comedy, audience participation and dazzling lighting to create a unique mesmerising theatrical experience for the young at young-at-heart. It’s bubble-tastic school holiday fun!
Australia’s first Marvel Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. experience is open at Federation Square and if you've got yourself a Marvel Avengers fan then this exhibition is worthy of a visit.
An acronym for Science Training and Tactical Intelligence Operative Network, visitors will able to simulate recruitment as if they were training as agents. The experience runs for approximately an hour and a half, during which guests will have the opportunity to explore an extensive range of Avengers operation equipment such as Captain America’s uniform and shield, Iron Man’s MK 45 suit, The Hulkbuster suit and Thor’s mighty hammer.
