Kid Friendly Cafes
Brighton Schoolhouse Cafe is right on trend and ticks all the boxes for a kid-friendly eatery. Let's start with a play area - tick! A fully fenced outdoor play area with old school swing and newer slide/swing combo sits nestled under big trees while you look on from the paved courtyard that's decked out with coloured stools and wooden tables and bench seating. The sprawling space has loads of room for a pram and would suit any mother's group catch-up.
Inside the schoolhouse it's vast and there's room for a pram. The kids can grab a toy from the 'super hero' area or some colouring in and once you pick something from the kid friendly menu they'll be all set! The menu boasts yummy pickings like toasties, eggs (any way you lie them), kids granola, mini milkshakes, kids OJ and babycino's (at a kid-friendly price).
While we were just visiting for coffee and a catchup with good friends, the menu for the big kids is vast. Salads, smoothies, eggs, bircher muesli, cakes and slices....they're also licensed.
The coffee is good, very good - St. Ali of course.
Highchairs - yes!
Just go. You'll love it too.
