Markets Kids Activities Melbourne
Drawing it's name from British Cockney for 'starving', Hank Marvin market launched at Alma Park East on Saturday August 1.
To say the area needed something like this was a huge understatement and come Spring, Hank will be pumping!
The weekly market is just what the South has been craving for, a 100% family friendly, weekly event where the focus is on delicious food and a festive, community atmosphere.
The market will draw over forty of Melbourne's best food trucks, including Happy Camper Pizza and the Brûlée Cart as well as top fresh food producers in the section of the park off Dandenong Road.
With a weekly pop up dining hall, picnic blankets available for use and it's close proximity to one of the best Southside playgrounds, the market will no doubt become a number one haunt for local families.
If you've got a hankering for great food, cool tunes, a local vibe and a community atmosphere and you love a local event then get your family here to show your support.
It's what the neighbourhood has been waiting for - afterall, this family orientated hot spot of Melbourne has been screaming out for something like this and now it's going to happen!
"I want to create a village-like atmosphere where locals have a sense of ownership of the space and where there is consistently great food on offer", says Founder, Paul Wesolek.
Throughout the year, Paul has planned a series of exciting micro and seasonal events that will celebrate the local community.
