walhallaThe small town of Walhalla in the Gippsland region is a special place to visit. Filled with intriguing history, stunning scenery and beautiful bushland, you're likely to spend your time here wandering, picnicking and relaxing. The kids will love the opportunity to head underground into the old gold mine (out of operation since 1914), and a train ride over the Thompson River will make their day!

Accommodation options at Walhalla include a hotel, B&Bs, self-contained cottages and a campground. When you visit this little spot with the big history, be prepared to experience a little magic.

Off On an Adventure We the Bellarine Big 4 Caravan Park

As a domestic goddess in the making it is important that I (and the family) take a little trip every now and then.

When taking a mini break away from home it is important that your accommodation meet certain basic requirements and as much as Mr H wants that to be a tent and a bonfire, I have decided that a domestic goddess just would never do camping.

I also accept I am a fusspot when leaving home and prefer the following as a minimum.
