Grand Opening this weekend (from the 9th June)
Get set for the next installment for the kids gallery at the National Gallery of Victoria.
Children will be immersed in city life inspired by Manhattan in New York City, surrounded by a panoramic screening populated with interesting facts about the city. Set within the space are a number of custom-designed interactive activities focused on the New York experience.
8th - 10th June
Street Corners, bars and restaurants will come alive again over the Queen’s Birthday Weekend, 8th – 10th June 2018, with the sights and sounds of the 6th Mornington Winter Music Festival. The 2018 festival brings with it a host of talent and will showcase an exciting program mixing traditional and modern Jazz and Blues music performances. This year the festival will be incorporating other music genres.

Fairy Park Anakie is a one hour drive from Melbourne or 25 minutes from Geelong. Set on a rock formation at the top of a hill and featuring 22 animated fairytale scenes set in beautiful manicured gardens you get the impression the park is a real labour of love. Fairy Park is OPEN for all of Queen's Birthday Long Weekend.
Sunday 10th & Monday 11th June
Teddy Bears are taking over the Diamond Valley Railway. Children under 17 who bring their teddy bear ride free. Everyone else is $3 per person per ride.
From Sunday 10th June
Celebrate with fireshows, face painting and light installations. A beautiful evening out for the whole family. All tickets include access to the park, mazes, mini golf, jumping castle, face painting, neon photo booth, entertainment, workshops and more.

Healesville Sanctuary is teaming up with Yarra Valley icons to bring you a weekend of food and wine against the backdrop of the Sanctuary's stunning bushland setting.
From 11am to 4pm each day, six event spaces including undercover pavilions and grassy picnic lawns will showcase a line-up of local wineries, craft breweries and hearty winter food for you to sample and purchase.
Warm up by roaring open fires and delight your senses with live acoustic music while our keepers roam the grounds with some of our furry, feathered and scaly friends for serendipitous wildlife encounters.

Come along to the Opening Weekend to celebrate the start of the 2018 Snow Season.
This weekend will be the opening of the Burton Riglet Park, where children aged from 3-6 can enjoy beginner snowboarding lessons in our Burton Riglet Park. Lessons are $35 and include equipment hire and instruction from our amazing snowsports instructors!
Be sure to go down the toboggan run, or hire some skis and take a look at the magic that surrounds the Lake Mountain village!

The Echuca Rotary Steam, Horse and Vintage Rally is two days packed with excitement and spectacular entertainment. The Echuca Steam Rally is not just for steam or engine buffs, there's plenty on for the whole family.

For a dino-rific day out out over the long weekend, KidsTown is putting on a dinosaur hunt! $10 includes a dinosaur hunt, jumping castle and a train ride.

This museum is situated in an old plumbing station and is simply brilliant. It is dynamic and interactive and a must for children who are inquisitive especially in matters relating to science and technology.
Hands-on participation is positively encouraged and visitors can take part in live demonstrations, shows, guided tours and special activities. There is also a programme of changing exhibitions. Scienceworks is a great place to challenge curious minds and keep active bodies busy.
