Parks & Playgrounds Kids Activities Melbourne
Crisp air, cool sunny days and The Great Outdoors.
Take a visit to Melbourne's beautiful park life and enjoy some local jems like the Family-friendly Botanic Gardens, Historic Como House, adventure playgrounds and more. These green spaces make the perfect place to stroll, ride bikes, scooter, throw a ball, picnic or just sit in the sunshine.
Kids are so energetic and so full of life, and that’s what we love about them. However, there are some days where we just want to sit back and enjoy their energy and enthusiasm without having to tire ourselves out as well. That's where Latitude steps up the mark and your kids can jump, tumble and bounce to their hearts content (and if you're game, you can embrace your inner kid too)!
Leafy Brighton East is home to a brand new playground and a playground with different kinds of challenges! Let's just say someone has thought out of the box and created more than your average play equipment. Let's start with the slides, two of them! To gain access to the slides you'll need to navigate a few obstacles to reach the top. A climbing rock wall, climbing frame and chain wall to pull yourself up (you'll be happy to know their are some steps up to one of the slides), it's an interesting concept and will require kids to think and plan.
What's better than a swim, splash and a paddle in a pirate themed aquatic centre? A play, climb and super slide at a marine vessel themed playground!
This playground is situated off the oval on Gardener Street at the back of GESAC and is definitely worth the extra play if you've visited GESAC!
