The Big Goose is a good mix of cute'n'cuddly critters and fun activities for your Melbourne kids.
There's plenty of small fluffy animals to pat, including chicks, rabbits and guinea pigs. And a not-so-fluffy Black Headed Python.
A row of aviaries hold a variety of native and exotic birds.

You can buy a bag of feed for $2.50 and feed the larger animals like cows, camels, sheep, goats, ostriches and poultry.
Included in admission is a tractor ride around the farm, a sheep dog demonstration and a reptile display.
Pony rides and mini-golf are $5.
There's even an undercover adventure playground and huge jumping pillow on site and a super fun Tyre Maze.

All in all it's a great half day adventure and an easy day trip from Melbourne. Or put it on your school holidays radar!
