Art & Craft Kids Activities Melbourne
Where are YOU going on adventure? This is our round-up of mini excursions - somewhere to while away a few hours or the whole day...
There's so many wild and wonderful things to make with a simple paper plate and this Easter bunny mask is no exception.
This is a pretty easy activity, one you could help your toddler with or your older child could make it on their own.
At Pip Dot we aim to provide meaningful art making experiences that foster creative development and freedom of expression. To this end we believe the art making process is more important than the end product.
At Pip Dot children of mixed ages (4-12 years) engage in art activities together. We offer an array of creative activities within each of the following the areas: painting, drawing sculpture, textiles and printmaking.
If you are looking for something different to do with your little explorer, how about the diamond valley railway (DVR) in the north eastern suburb of Eltham. Kids of all ages love trains and the trains at DVR will not disappoint.
DVR is a 40 minute drive from the city but don't let that deter you as the drive itself is beautiful and you will quickly find yourself immersed in the beautiful, leafy northern suburbs. Once you arrive at DVR you will spot the miniature steam puffing trains with carriages full of children waving as they pass you at one of the many miniature railway crossings (bells and flashing signals included). The little trains puff its way around the 2km track, crossing bridges, going up and down hills and chugging past miniature railway stations.
