Children’s Week™ is a national celebration of children’s rights, talents and citizenship and always celebrated around Universal Children's Day which is held on the fourth Wednesday of October in Australia. Romp & Stomp Fun Day for Children is especially for children between the ages of 0 and 5 years of age to experience a number of fun play-based activities which are age appropriate and emphasise the different aspects of early childhood learning and development. Today Romp & Stomp Fun Day for Children is in its 14th successful year, raising the awareness of the importance of early childhood development within the community.

Suitable for preschool aged children 3-5 years, these unique workshops offer participants an opportunity to explore the story of The Sleeping Beauty through dance and movement.
Children's Week Picnic at The Collingwood Children's Farm, Abbotsford
Monday 24th October
Council invites all families, primary schools and children’s services in Yarra to the annual Children’s Week Picnic at the Collingwood Children’s Farm, St Helier’s Street Abbotsford. Come along for the traditional hay rides, milking the cow, face painting, songs and stories and the usual array of feathery, furry, hairy, aromatic creatures feeding and foraging at the Farm.

The Potato Shed welcomed over 7,000 people for this amazing celebration of family life last year!
This must-do Bellarine event is full of fun activities for the whole family including a live play by Theatre 3triple2 4 Kids, live music, face painting, animal farm, bungee run, skate park, crafts, storytelling, sports Zone and workshops. Returning for 2016 are the ever popular Mik Maks!!
