From the minute my two littles aged two and five tore through the front gates of Ripponlea House and Gardens, the magic started as they scampered from one fabulous activity to the next, and better yet all the activities were included in the ticket price!

So much more than teddy bears and picnic rugs, although of course there were plenty of these, they rode ponies, practised circus skills, made gorgeous creations at the various craft stations, met a fairy, tumbled on squishy play equipment and even held a snake!  And when the excitement was all too much we could relax on a blanket beneath the beautiful trees that fill the enormous landscaped gardens.

We then commenced the treasure hunt, with a bit of help from some older kids who directed us to many of the hiding spots!

The day was not over before they were planning next years visit, a sure sign of how much they loved it.
