Nestled on a quiet shopping strip, Iron Henry could be one of the Melbourne café scene's best-kept secrets. With great coffee (specific shout out to their soy caps) and a decent food menu to boot (including kids menu), this delightful cafe is one of our favourite Murrumbeena discoveries.

If you have time up your sleeve, we recommend settling in to enjoy your brew and the incredible play area upstairs where it's all about the kids! You might just get to relax too!

Blocks, trains, books, trucks, games, toddler toys, transformers, more trucks....kiddo saviour! There's four roomy tables indoors with enough space to sprawl out on and watch over your little ones enjoying happy (hopefully) play.

We couldn't fault this mama-lovin’, family-friendly pit stop! The staff are pretty ace too!

- If you've got a pram, it's best you sit downstairs as the play area is located upstairs (access via steps only)

- 2 hour parking is available outside

- if you're arriving by train, Murrumbeena train station is your stop
