You don't have to go far to have an amazing kid friendly farm yard experience. Australian Farmyard Friends enables children to experience farm animals one on one.

This little activity would have to be a locals best kept secret, every tuesday the littlies get to interact and hang out with the farmyard friends.

We love the vibe at the market, it's positively buzzing and swarming with mama's, grand-parents, nannies (and we don't mean the goats!) and of course - kids.

After the hive of the animals, grab a coffee and lunch and soak up the rays.

There's also the coin in the slot amusement rides to keep the kids happy (and not so much your wallet) and FREE face painting.

Come and feed the lambs, pat the calves, goats, dog, poultry and have a cuddle with the rabbits and guinea pigs.

When you're done head over to the playground across from Safeway.
