The City is In, always IN!

The City comes up trumps time and time again with its Museums, aquarium, galleries, Southbank, Docklands, Fed Square, laneways and a playground (yes - a City playground)!

And when school comes to an end, the days warm up (or cool even), the city comes to life for Melbourne Kids. Lets not forget Christmas Celebrations - it's quite possibly the most magical time to enjoy the City.

Not only has it fundamentally altered the skyline but, standing 135m tall in a fairly flat city, it is visible from many surprising parts of the city. A ride – or 'flight', as it is called here – in one of the wheel's 32 glass-enclosed eye pods holding up to 28 people draws visitors from Interstate, Overseas and Locals alike.

The Melbourne Star Observation Wheel will thrill the youngest to the eldest member of your family. It certainly wowed our family.

The Melbourne Star circles around slowly (approximately half an hour), offering a birds-eye perspective of Melbourne.
