This fab - 3 slide - water play - all-abilities playground was made possible through a funding partnership between the Victorian State Government, the Wallan & Kilmore Community Bank® Branches of Bendigo Bank and Mitchell Shire Council.
The amazing five story tower offers hidey-holes and different degrees of difficulty that suits all ages. You'll be rewarded with 3 different slides from a twisty slide, straight slide and tunnel slide. There's a good array of playground equipment including a flying fox.
This summer from Saturday 3 December 2016 to Sunday 26 March 2017, with support from Williamstown Swimming and Life Saving Club, Altona Life Saving Club, and local traders Council will be providing beach matting seven days a week on both Williamstown and Altona Beach, and FREE to hire beach wheelchairs available on Saturdays and Sundays during surf life saving club patrol hours (12pm to 5pm).
Centenary Reserve has undergone a transformation and it has gone from drab to totally fab! It's out with the old (coloured plastic) and in with a natural palette of nature inspired play equipment and an urban garden for the public. Ooh, you might fancy a game of TABLE TENNIS too! (Just bring your own bat and ball). This great use of space is opposite the skate park and Graham Street bridge underpass - basketball hangs and Melbourne street art central and you're likely to spot a tram or two on your visit!
