Parks & Playgrounds Kids Activities Melbourne
Crisp air, cool sunny days and The Great Outdoors.
Take a visit to Melbourne's beautiful park life and enjoy some local jems like the Family-friendly Botanic Gardens, Historic Como House, adventure playgrounds and more. These green spaces make the perfect place to stroll, ride bikes, scooter, throw a ball, picnic or just sit in the sunshine.
Park up and grab your coffee and treats to go from the North Point Cafe and head directly opposite to this nautical themed playground.
Built by the Rotary International this playground is in every way all based around the sea - the kids will love scrambling over the Rotary Endeavour ship with its slide, climbing frame and tunnels/hidey holes, or sailing the rough seas on the little blue sailboat and there's a couple of other little features that make this playground so good!
Go kart's, toboggans, water slides, mini golf...and more! Once you get here (about an hour out of Melbourne) the fun never stops.
If you really want to get your money's worth (and let's be honest, who doesn't) plan to arrive early and stay all day and choose a warm day. If you go in busier times (school holidays and weekends), naturally expect big queues.
The highly anticipated all-inclusive play space has been unveiled and it's on a grand scale!
Ballarat’s first Inclusive Play Space includes multiple play zones and accessible equipment designed for people with a disability. Features are a double flying fox, multiple swings, slides, carousel and a year-round passive/imaginative water play precinct. The project includes new paths, shade shelters, BBQs, picnic tables, car parking and toilet facilities.
