Big (huge) super slide alert at Harleston Park! If the kids aren't clambering all over the super slide, you can relax a little at the more gentler paced playground area a stone's throw away.

This play area is complete with towers and ramps, slides, climbers, poles, abacus, bridges, interactive bead frame, and small tunnels. There's also a see-saw, monkey bars, flying fox, two sets of swings including baby swings.

Bring your swimmers (or a change of clothes) the park also has an old timber bridge and a rock formation with water to clamber all over and soak your feet in on a sunny day. When you're done working up a sweat or cooling off, play a game of bocce or challenge your friends on the giant chess board. There are grassy spaces for sports and ball games AND a picnic.

little TIPS

- Bring a change of clothes on warmer days (you're going to get wet)!

- Toilets

- Free parking on Allison Road

- Playground isn't fenced but it's set back from the road

- Don't forget your hat and sunblock, there's very limited shade at this park
