Play Centres Kids Activities Melbourne
IKEA! This one hardly needs an introduction. But, you may not have known that you can drop the kids off at Småland (Ikea's version of a mini play centre) for absolutly free - the catch is, it's only for an hour.
Come prepared with your list (you'll probably pick up a zillion things you don't even need as you rush around) because as soon as that hour is up, it's time to pick up the kids.
Smaland is for ages 3 10 year olds and it's worth getting to Smaland on opening time (when IKEA opens) as you're not always guaranteed a place as they only take a certain amount of children.
On arrival you'll sign your youngster in then they'll get a box assigned to them to pop their shoes in and then the playtime (and your shopping) begins!
Inside Smaland your kids can jump, climb, draw and create and you'll know they're being well looked after. It's really as easy as 1, 2 , 3....GO!
Ikea also offer a stellar School Holiday program. Be sure to check out your local IKEA for what's on.
*Children must be toilet trained, those with nappies cannot be admitted to Småland.
